Ok so. I don't have many hobbies. Infact none, unless you count music, then that is probably my one and only true hobby. being so into music, its amazing to see how it changes. its awesome. I save all of my tickets to every show I have been to. Its a great way to look back on shows and think what songs were played and who went with you. Especially bands that are not around anymore ( phish). But since certain bands have departed I have started to look at other bands a lot more, and o my how have my eyes have been open. With my good friend John and I trading music, saying what each other should check out is another awesome way to get to know new bands. And when im talking about music, I mean MUSIC. Not something that is only going to be around for about 3 weeks, until it gets retired on MTV. Im talking about bands that know there music like it was a fine english woman. Where each member knows there instruments like it was there own body part. The best way to experience music, I think, is to go to large venue where lots of other bands are playing as well. Because you know these other bands/groups that are playing with the band you went to see are going to have the same musical taste. so in a way its killing 2 birds with one stone. Not only are you seeing the band that drove you to go, but also you are seeing other bands that could potential lead you to like them as well. This leads you where I want to be on June 16 to the 18, in Tennessee, for Bonaroo. O my, Bonaroo will have ever band on the bill that I wanted to see this summer all in one location. and a road trip is added onto it. If I went to it this year not only would it make my summer but would lead me to other bands that would open a whole new can of worms for me. One can hope friends can move some funding around and can make it.
